Nope -- I'm not the one with the bucket on my head. That is my daughter. I'm keeping a stash of these pictures for her 16th birthday party. Right now, she is an irrepressible 3-year-old, and takes great delight in doing anything she thinks will get a laugh!

I'm Resa Kerns, and I'm addicted to melting glass. I began my lampworking career a little more than one year ago, and haven't looked back. Although I've dabbled in all sorts of arts and crafts over the years, nothing has captured my imagination the way glass has. Maybe it has something to do with the fumes from the gas ;) Seriously -- melting glass and creating glass beads is an intense and meditative experience, and I do it every chance I get.

When I'm not making beads, or chasing after the munchkin, I work as a librarian at a university law school in mid-Missouri, am webmaster of the law school website, and head up the library's technology services department. I'm also an active member of my church, and try to bring a little order to their library.

I am incredibly grateful for the blessings in my life, and can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
